These great planes from the past are brought to life for many reasons. To race, to fly for fun, to look at, to educate…but all include making people smile for what they are and most importantly, what the US and their allies did with them back in World War II.
At Vintage V12’s, while we build engines to win championships at Reno, we also pride ourselves in building, reliable, beautiful and powerful engines for planes to be used at events, museums and private collections honoring the planes and the pilots that flew them.
It’s always nice to win the Unlimited Class at the Stihl National Championship Air Races at Reno but even better to do it safely and cost-effectively. Vintage V12s is proud of our success at Reno with over ten Unlimited Class wins in almost 40 years.
Our engineers and mechanics are very meticulous with our race engines to provide the most power, the longest run times and most reliability available for those that push the 500 mph envelope to win.
When it comes to having the right parts for Vintage V12s’ rebuilds of Allison, Merlin and Griffon engines, no one in the entire world has the selection that we do.
With a 30-year supply in-house, we still scour the earth for additional inventories of NOS parts to add to our massive stock. We’ll have what your engine needs.
